Robert Kiyosaki Says There Are 3 Types of Education For Financial Success

According to Robert Kiyosaki, there are 3 types of education that are key to financial success in life.

-Scholastic education: This education teaches us to read, write and do math. This education is very important in today’s world.

-Professional education: This education teaches you how to work for money and if your smart get a job as a doctor, lawyer, accountant or other professional trades such as plumbers, builders, auto mechanics and electricians. The country is full of school that will give you this education to help you become more employable.

-Financial education: This is the education where you learn to have money work for you rather than you work for money. This education is not taught in most of our schools.

So many of our parents taught us the “Poor Dad” mentality where we had to get our education to go and work for someone else. Well, with the economy as it is right now, it is less stable having a corporate job than a work at home job. But as Kiyosaki’s “Rich Dad” taught him, “If you have a poor financial education, you will always work for the rich.”

I don’t know about you, but I am psychologically unemployable having gained the knowledge of a financial education through my Wealth Masters International system. I am no longer employable to work for money. I need to work for myself and have my money working for me. Nothing else makes sense, not even if I was broke would I go back to work for a paycheck. When there are opportunities on the internet where you can work form home and spend less time and create a profit rather than a wage the sky is the limit.

I came to realize that the direct sales system is a way for anyone to acquire great wealth. The system is open to anyone who has drive, determination and perseverance. Or as I also like to categorize it, the correct Mindset, Marketing and Mission. It doesn’t matter your age, gender, race, or popularity. The direct sales industry is about how much you are willing to learn, share and grow.

My experience with direct sale and network marketing is that people are very willing to share their newly acquired systems to make money. They become teachers of their trade and give back to the economy in a positive manner.

So let us all share what we have learned for ourselves about financial education so we can all create wealth and not work for the rich man any longer.…

Construction Insurance – Importance and Coverage

Construction involves large number of manpower and huge investments of money. The workers at a construction site risk their lives working at great heights, with dangerous tools, toxic materials, heavy equipment, under tunnels, etc. Here, construction is associated with high amount of risk for money and lives. A slight negligence or bad fortune on part of the worker or owner may prove too costly. It may lead to a huge financial loss. These unfortunate events require tools, which can bail the company out of the situation. Here arises the need of 'Construction Insurance', the risk management tool, customized specifically for the construction industry. Construction insurance is like any other insurance, which is used to protect the various parties associated with construction process.

A comprehensive construction insurance policy covers all the expenses that may occur due to property damage or personal injuries at the construction site. This insurance not only includes the organization owner, but also workers, employees, tenants, sub-contractors, sole proprietors and business partners.

Importance of construction insurance
As discussed above, construction uses use of heavy equipment, materials, labor, etc. And is more prone to accidents. Since the business stands for any accident on the construction site, it is the business owner or the contractor that should pay for the medical treatment charges of the injured or compensation to the families, in case of death of the worker.

Material costs associated with construction are very high. Any damage to the structure or the materials leads to huge financial loss. Insured with the construction insurance, one can seek financial assistance from the insurance company.

The buyers of the flats or the constructed property will have all rights to sue the construction company, in case of faulty construction. In such cases the construction company has to pay for the remodeling or repairing the constructed site. Construction insurance protects the builders from those claims, by providing financial assistance.

Apart from the above circumstances, construction insurance provides wide coverage, providing security to the business in case of unpredicted events.

Employers are responsible for the health and safety of their employees at construction site. Moreover, the employees will have every right to sue the owner and claim …

Why Corporate Video Production Is Effective For Business Growth

In business, videos are used for marketing, education and even entertainment. They are powerful tools that can be used for a multitude of purposes. For these chief reasons, competitive companies allocate a sizeable portion of their operational budget to corporate video production. This has become an effective tool for business growth.

Indeed, a lot of experts say that videos are very effective in building brand awareness. In fact, marketing studies prove that businesses that have video content in their website get visitors to stay longer than business websites that don’t use videos.

In addition to that, people generally prefer marketing content in a visual format, and this is the reason why online content views average 50 billion each month. Your business can attract even more people online, or even on TV, if you present your brand and its value through videos.

And when it comes to setting a good impression, videos also work extremely well on target audiences. Businesses can really make a mark and appeal powerfully to the aesthetic sensibilities of many people. Corporate film production, expert marketers say, is one of the best ways to tell the beautiful story of the business so it can become more relatable to a lot of people. It’s one obvious demonstration of competitiveness because everybody knows how big a budget is allocated for video production, as well as how much work is involved in order to achieve the best final output.

People have this idea that if you’re doing the same thing as the big players are, then perhaps you’re an important player as well. It can be educational, as well as an effective means for businesses to expedite their processes. Many large companies actually use corporate videos in order to clearly demonstrate to their clients or customers how to complete certain processes without the assistance of support personnel.

Lastly, the videos can simplify and speed up operations by going beyond the usual hassles and mistakes of day-to-day business activities. A video can provide a fresh perspective of the business, generate more interest, appear more approachable, and perhaps, lock in more clients so that business income is increased.

Video production actually has many other benefits for business because creativity with videos depends greatly on the nature of an enterprise’s operations. So all in all, if you wish to boost your business’s performance and ensure your competitive advantage, it’s imperative to opt for corporate video production.…

There’s nothing better as a 14 year old walking around with your own wad of cash. When you can stop begging your parents for a few bucks to buy video games or to just go out and have fun this summer, kids can have a level of freedom they never had before.

Making money when your a teenager can be tough. There’s not a lot of places you can get hired at this age, and the jobs that are available don’t pay all that well. Teenagers are stuck with dirty, messy jobs that no one else wants to do, and all for minimum wage.

Personal Development Plans For Musicians

You know, there’s much more to playing music than learning scales and chops. There’s a whole other side to playing music that’s in your mind and your heart. As a musician, if you create your own personal development plans and follow them, you’ll be able to do much more than you every believed you could.

Setting Goals

This is first and foremost. You probably don’t remember, but one year ago today, you didn’t play nearly as well as you do now. You also hadn’t heard some of the music that’s influenced your playing. There were ideas out there in the universe that you couldn’t have even imagined one year ago today.

So, where would you like to be next year on this day? Nobody ever gets anywhere without setting goals. Decide what it is you’d like to achieve in the next year, and then take the steps you need to achieve it.

But, don’t set unrealistic goals for yourself. This is a real confidence killer. “I want to become proficient in six more orchestral instruments in the next year.” Whoah, put on the breaks a minute! Think about what you realistically can do; take steps toward your goal, and each step along the way will be joyous and inspiring. You can do what you want, but some things take longer than others.

Keep An Open Mind

Every musician has a subconscious checklist. This checklist says, “I am this” and “I am that.” It also says, “I can do this” and “I can’t do that.”

Everybody can benefit from exploration. Get out and check out new music you’ve never heard before. If you’re a jazz player, get some hip hop records. What do you like and what don’t you like about them? What is similar and what is different? You’d be surprised how different styles of music mesh together into something else. Don’t restrict yourself.

If you’re a classical musician, go the library and check out some CDs of music from some other part of the world. If at first it sounds jarring, give it a good listen. Maybe you can bring something unique to your music from a faraway place.

Turn Mistakes Into Learning Opportunities

One thing that holds everybody back, musician or otherwise, is focusing on failure. Regret is a terrible thing. When you make a mistake, reflect on it. Think about what went wrong and how you can make it go better next time.

This is especially important with your performances. When you have a bad show, you just want to go somewhere alone and stew about it. You might want to give the whole thing up and get an office job. But, it’s really important not to think about it that way.

Whether you have a good performance or a bad performance, reflect. Think about what went well, and what went badly. What got the most audience response, and what could you maybe skip next time. This is all part of honing our performance skills.

Business Acumen – What is it and How Do I Get It?

During my 9 year career as in house HR, the term "business acumen" was typically applied to HR in the following ways: "Our HR department needs more business acumen" or "HR has a lack of business acumen". Inevitably, these statements would come from the company's business leaders and would there ruffle the feathers of the HR leadership team. As a result, there would be "business acumen" teachable moments in our HR all hands and often times "business acumen" would land as an HR strategic priority. The problem with trying to strengthen business acumen with these tactics is there was very little context given to the HR organization. Most comments would be centered on business acumen as being an important skill set for the HR team but no context for what it was, how to build it, or what the impact of it was. By giving the HR employees concepts with no definition or concrete frame, some individuals often struggle to pull out the pertinent pieces of information from these business acumen lessons and rarely knew how to use the information in a strategic way. To help in understanding what it is and what to do with it once you have it, read on.

To begin we must first define the concept of business acumen. Raj Charan, once said that business acumen is "… linking an insightful assessment of the external business landscape with the keen awareness of how money can be made – and then implementing the strategy to deliver the desired results". In essence, business acumen is the triangulation between, external pressures, internal strategy and commerce. Therefore, to ask the human resources professional to have more business acumen is really about understanding where the company is going given the external market conditions and the overall company strategy and then linking this knowledge to the impact it will have on the people component of the organization . By understanding where the company is going based on these business components, human resources can impact how quickly the organization remains ahead of the curve.

For example, we often talk about the impact of emerging competitors, but what does that mean for HR. It means being attuned to the impact this will have on the recruiting base, how we retain and compensate current employees, who in the organization might be affected, etc. In addition to being attuned, a strategy needs to emerge to address these issues quickly and effectively. What this assumes is, not only do you need to know where the overall organization is going, but also have an understanding of how it impacts the organizational structure, leadership needs, retention, staffing, etc. And then make recommendations or changes based on all this information. To start, all HR professionals need to understand and internalize their businesses and driving business needs. Below are some tips on how to gain more business acumen within your organization.

4 Steps to Improving your Business Acumen:

  • Understand your company's business model, structure, products and services. This means talking

The Importance of Apology Letters in Business

If you’ve made a mistake in your business, a verbal apology is much more difficult than a written one. In a written apology, time can be taken to chose and pick words appropriate for the situation. A written apology gives time to the recipient as well to think about the situation and respond accordingly.

If the business relationship is intimate, the approach has to be more romantic. References to the good times spent working or venturing in a project together may be included to suggest that it would be very foolish to terminate a relationship that both parties cherish.

“I am sorry” letter in business preferably should be written by the owner of the company and best accompanied by small gifts. Even if the letter is a brief one, it must specify what the apology is for. The feeling of regret and repentance must be put across very clearly.

Handwritten letters are said to work wonders in such cases. At times apologies need to be put across in a customer relationship as well. A grave mistake may be been made to a loyal customer. A smart business owner should recognize this situation and quickly write an apology letter to the customer. Failing to do so, you may not see the said customer ever again.

How about writing an apology letter for your own employee? In such cases the tone of the letter must be sympathetic as “I am sorry” might be used to communicate a termination, or rejection of a business proposal or failure to deliver a promotion.

In such cases the cause of the action has to be clearly defined to the recipient. The extent, to which letters would be effective entirely depends on the extent to which the damage has been caused. However, a note of sorry definitely reduces the discomfort caused by some offending act or behavior.…

I Love Teamwork – Advantages Of Creating A Great Team

What’s it all about?

What is teamwork? Why is it that a team of people can achieve greater success than an individual working alone? I’d like to try and answer those questions with reference to my own personal experience.

Teamwork is obviously a subject about which many people seek to know more. If you search the Internet for teamwork related resources and a plethora of information turns up for free. Team building activities, teamwork games, team work articles and motivational teamwork quotes being just a few of the resources readily available to the researcher.

To gather my own thoughts I’ve looked back over my own experiences and thought about the best team I’ve ever worked with, I’ve contemplated what made that team great and asked myself the questions: Why did we we all work so well together? Why were we able to achieve greater than the sum of our individual achievements?

It’s made me think about what stops teams from working well too, what prevents them from being a team?

What is it that make a team great?

Here’s a few dictionary definitions:

Team – “two or more persons working together”

Teamwork – “combined action of a team, especially when effective and efficient”.

In my analysis the key words are “working together” and “when effective and efficient”.

You see those two short phrases describe to me exactly what a great team is all about. I’ll give another dictionary definition before I go on:

Team-spirit – the spirit of a group that makes the members want the group to succeed

I agree wholeheartedly with that definition, there’s nothing quite like being a member of a great team, where everyone is working together in harmony, their individual abilities all harnessed into a single focused effort. It’s genuinely very effective, it makes you feel that together you could achieve anything. You probably could too!!

Why can a team be more effective than one person?

Physical laws would tend to suggest that the overall ability of a group can be no more than the sum of the individual team member’s abilities, and could be slightly reduced due to inefficiencies within the grouping. Sadly this is often true for many so called teams, because in truth they are just a group of people suffering from a lack of motivation and individual selfishness, not what I would define as a team. True teams are empowered by team-spirit, the willingness to act as a member of the group rather than as an individual. Individuals empowered by team-spirit benefit from much greater motivation and therefore achieve greater success than they would acting alone. It follows then that a whole group of people empowered by team-spirit will achieve greater things than all of its individuals would alone.

What motivates people to work as a team?

I’ll never forget my first experience of working with a really inspired team , it was awesome! You could actually feel the energy it generated! I was one member of a great team of …

The Importance of Insurance Reviews

Most people reach out to their insurance brokers or underwriters when there is a significant event in their lives that necessitates new or revised risk coverage – perhaps when they purchase a new home or it’s time to trade-in the old car. However, far fewer remember to review their insurance at regular intervals or when more subtle changes to their coverage requirements occur.

Reviewing your insurance regularly helps ensure your coverage is what you expect it to be in the unfortunate circumstance that you need to file a claim. It also aids in making informed decisions regarding coverage and being proactive about minimizing your insurance costs.

There are many different circumstances that could possibly change your coverage requirements and prompt a call to an insurance professional for a review. The examples below identify some of the instances in which you might want to review your coverage:

  • Renovations – If you perform renovations to your house, it is likely that you are also increasing its value. Whether it’s a new kitchen, bathroom, pool, or even expensive landscaping, remember to check your policy limits to ensure they remain adequate in case of an insured loss. If you’ve recently renovated your basement, also note it is quite likely that your water damage insurance needs to be reviewed.
  • You’ve been accumulating possessions – Have you done a home inventory lately? Most people have more personal possessions than they think. Estimating the total value of your contents is vital to helping ensure your limits are adequate.
  • You’ve purchased a high value item – Remember that some of your personal possessions have to be scheduled to be properly covered. Jewellery, antiques, collectibles, wine collections, and art are a few examples of pieces that may require additional coverage.
  • New coverages have become available – The insurance industry frequently adapts to changing market conditions and offers coverage in areas that it has not in the past. For homeowners, insurance for overland water damage and home repair issues (such as broken furnaces) have recently become available from some insurers, in some areas. In addition, legal expense insurance, travel insurance, and pet insurance are available from brokers looking to cover more of your risk and insurance needs.
  • Laws changing to give you more or less choice – Changes to automobile accident benefits mean you should review your choices.
  • You become eligible for additional discounts – Changes in your personal circumstances may affect your eligibility for policy discounts. For example, if you install an alarm system you are likely eligible for a discount on your homeowner policy. If you use snow tires on your vehicle, many insurers offer a discount on your car insurance policy. If you pass the age of 50-55, you may become eligible for mature driver discounts.
  • If you change jobs and have a shorter commute – You should report this to your insurance broker as driving less typically correlates to lower risk and less expensive premiums. If you have a certain job occupation, you may also be
