How to Compare Low Cost Health Insurance in Colorado

Comparison is the key to making almost any buying decision, and that is certainly true when it comes to choosing your Colorado health insurance plan. According to recent surveys completely 42{4917788a0bd7aa7369c2a945027b4fe6c9853cda4150a24fe1255b18ce3083dc} of all Colorado families are worried about paying for any health care at all. But do not be fooled into comparing only cost – when it comes to insuring your family's health care, cost is only one factor to consider.

Depending on your family's health care history and your expectations of health care needs for the coming year, you should also compare the annual maximum each health care provider is willing to pay, what each family member's co-pay will be for routine doctor visits, your co-pay for prescriptions, your out-of-pocket expenses for hospital stays, your coverage for emergency room visits, which doctors you are allowed to see and, finally, each plan needs to be compared based on the plan's deductible.

(The deductible is the amount you pay out of your own pocket each year before your health insurance begins paying off.

When all of those factors are taken into consideration, then you'll need to compare monthly premiums.

Here in Colorado you have more than half a dozen competitive plans to compare.

If it sounds like a lot of work – it is.

Even using side-by-side plan comparisons on the internet, trying to find and compare the best health care coverage for your family at the best cost is no easy matter. However, by concentrating primarily only on the benefits that are most important to you and your family you may be able to make the comparisons easier.

Health care is expensive. In fact, for more than 16 million Americans health care now consumes at least one quarter of their disposable income. That's why it's well worth whatever time and effort it takes for you to make the comparisons between health care plans so you can find the one that's right for you at a price you can afford to pay. …

Your Business Mission – What the Heck Do You Do, Anyway?

Do you really need a business mission statement? Is it just some fancy words to put in that business plan that collections dust on your shelf, or is there really more to it?

One of the key attributes of successful businesses is that they clearly know what they do. Defining the goal or the "mission" of your business can be the key to your success.

A good mission statement does three things:

"States what business you are in." Defines your target market. "Provides inspiration for your business.

One of the best examples of a mission statement comes from Levi Strauss & Co. [http://www.levistrauss.com/Company/ValuesAndVision.aspx]

"We will market and distribute the most appealing and widely worn apparel brands. Our products define quality, style and function. We will clothe the world."

Clothing the world is a pretty lofty goal, but Levi Strauss has the ability to do this for one reason — Their founder, Levi Strauss, started the business with a mission and focus.

Levi started his wholesale dry goods business in San Francisco February, 1853. Rather than hoping to make his fortune in the Gold Rush, he created a fortune by wholesaling clothing and fabric to the small stores supplying the thousands of miners and later, families of the West.

In 1872, he was contacted by Jacob Davis, a tailor who had developed a method to rivet the stress points of the pants he made from fabric he bought from-you guessed it — Levi Strauss. Jacob did not have the funds to patent the process, so he teamed up with Levi Strauss to patent the original blue jean in 1873. The rest is history.

Now, if Levi Strauss was your typical small business, he would probably have spun off in ten different directions in their early years, but the company remained focused on supplying quality clothing and fabrics to the working men and women of the West, and later the world. Rather than focusing on their core market, they would have fallen into the AFAB method … Anything for a Buck.

Most small businesses suffer from this lack of focus.

When we work with struggling business owners, the first thing we ask them is "What is your bread and butter?" What one product or service provides you with the majority of your business profit?

Unfortunately, most business owners can not answer that question. They did not define their core product or service and target market when they started, and end up doing a little bit of everything, and nothing well.

Or, they focus most of their time on a product or service line that they like, without knowing whether it actually is their most profitable.

Fortunately, there is an easy fix for this problem.

You have to determine your gross profit margin from each of your product lines or services. Get together with your accountant, and figure out what you need to do to separate your revenue and expenses by the major product lines of your business. Then, you can find out …

Doing Business in Vietnam – Minimizing the Language Barriers With English, Chinese and Vietnamese

For many companies outside of Vietnam, doing business in Vietnam is like a gold mine which is loaded with business opportunities. Many companies aspire to tap on this raising Asian market to increase the returns of their business. Vietnam is a favourable destination for business because of the large size of the Vietnamese market itself, increasing purchasing power of the Vietnamese and its ideal geographical location. Other reasons include low labour costs and established political stability. As with all international dealings, companies doing business with Vietnam may find some challenges. One such clear challenge is the language barrier.

No doubt English is the official working language in Vietnam, it is but true that only very few Vietnamese actually speak it. Almost 90{4917788a0bd7aa7369c2a945027b4fe6c9853cda4150a24fe1255b18ce3083dc} of the Vietnamese populations speaks Vietnamese while the rest speak either Chinese or both Chinese and Vietnamese. English sufficient enough to conduct business is largely only spoken by foreign-educated Vietnamese professionals who may have obtained even higher degrees from other English-speaking nations. While it may not be difficult to go about with daily routine speaking English, this poses as a problem when engaging clients and businesses in Vietnam in Business English. Much of the understanding of the Vietnamese society comes about by understanding what lies between the lines. These lines can only be understood with a basic knowledge of the local language.

As such, the language barrier between English, Chinese and Vietnamese needs to be minimized. This is where multilingual B2B websites come into play. Multilingual websites have been introduced primarily for reducing the language barriers between local Vietnam suppliers and manufacturers and global companies wanting to trade with them. One such multilingual B2B website which helps to minimize the language barrier is Vigogo. The large trading platform allows users to instantly switch into English, Chinese and Vietnamese. This allows Vietnam suppliers to reach out to a large consumer than suppliers on a monolingual English only B2B site would be able to.…

Welding Jobs: Ideas You Can Use At Home To Make Money Welding (No Boss While You Make $100,000)

What if you could make $100,000 a year welding from home?

What if you could make even an extra $500 a month from home, using your current skills? If you are a welder with basic welding skills and you are between jobs or you are being under paid in your current job, it might be worth your time to read this article – let’s think outside the box for just a minute on how you can make money welding from home.

From Home Welding # 1:

Teaching or tutoring any skill is a very profitable business. In any town of any size you’ll see at least one tutoring business in a strip mall brick and mortar location. In that same town will be at least a dozen other tutors working from home, making good money.

Yes, most of the time they are tutoring math and reading to students. Lean back and think about what skills you have that can also be used in a tutoring business you can set up and milk cash from, like milk from a cow.

Let’s say you are good enough with TIG to weld razor blades or pop can butts.

If you can teach a non welder to operate a TIG torch good enough to go on and practice on their own at their home in about 3 hours of your hands on theirs – they will pay up to $100 an hour for 3 hours of TIG instruction. Just 2 students a day would bring you $100,000 a year. If you think I’m kidding I’m NOT! There are many reasons why education is so valuable – and that includes intense, focused tutoring in welding.

6G pipe welding is the highest paid of all welding certifications – most 6G welders make $100k to $300k a year – and demand is crazy. However, if you are a 6G welder and you want to stay home, you can set up and teach 6G in your garage. Let’s say you do this with 7 students, each paying you $10,000 for a 3 month course. Yes, they will pay it – especially if you show them how they will have more time with your hand on theirs (the #1 secret to learning 6G fast).

From Home Welding # 2:

I was in Palm Springs the other day. I have been in and around the trades for 30 years… and when you see a tradesman’s truck and it is late model without dents or many scratches, clean, organized and well equipped, it means (99{4917788a0bd7aa7369c2a945027b4fe6c9853cda4150a24fe1255b18ce3083dc} of the time) that guy is making money.

I pulled up to a light behind just such a truck – “Joe’s BBQ Service and Repair.” That’s it – that is all Joe does. He will weld cast aluminum or steel. He’ll clean and polish. He’ll replace a burner or a control. OR he’ll buy your old unit and sell / or sell you a new one.

Yes, you need a town with a lot of high …

Why Do We Need Personal Development to Be Successful?

In order to really answer that, we need to define what we mean by personal development. In my opinion, personal development is:

  • Growth as a conscious human being
  • Activities that improve self-knowledge and identity
  • Development of talents and potential
  • Development in different areas of life
  • Building of human capital and employability
  • Enhancing the quality of life
  • Contributing to the realization of dreams and aspirations
  • Is not limited to self-development but includes formal and informal activities for developing others
  • In the context of institutions, it refers to the methods, programs, tools, techniques, and assessment systems that support human development at the individual level in organizations
  • (hard) work that requires discipline, determination, consistency, patience, time, courage, forgiveness

Let’s then take a closer look at some of these bullet points in correlation to success.

Improving your self-knowledge and identity means, among other things, that you become more aware of who you are and what you want. Knowing what you want and where you need to improve yourself in order to achieve what you want are essential parts of success.

If you have already achieved success you cannot stay put if you want to remain successful. The world and other people around you are constantly evolving; therefore you need to keep on developing your talents and potential further. Otherwise your success will remain short term.

Depending on your goals, you need constant development in different areas of your life, not just in one. Some of these areas might include health, finances, relationships, emotions, habits and beliefs, to mention a few. A good health will ensure that you are able to do what you want to do. It is obvious that you can do a lot more as a healthy person than you would lying sick on a bed. It is obvious, in most cases, that you can achieve more and free yourself from some of the worries when your financial situation is stable. It is obvious that you can achieve more when you have sound relationships with supporting and loving people to back you up. And so on.

Having activities for developing others, in addition to developing yourself, is really what gives you the final boost for success. The old saying “what goes around, comes around” applies here quite well. Helping other people succeed will ensure that they willingly help you in return. It is much, much more difficult – and in most cases even impossible – to achieve success just by yourself. You can’t be the master of everything. And you shouldn’t even try to be. Concentrate on doing well what you love doing and let other people help you in the areas that they love doing. Help others develop themselves and they will help you develop yourself. That is for everybody’s benefit.

Finally, understand that long lasting success does require work. At times, it can even seem to require hard work. But once you have found what it is that you truly love doing, the work doesn’t seem that hard anymore. But …

The Power of Self-Approval

Do you want more happiness in your life? Are you tired of compromising your happiness for that of others? Have you ever stopped to think about why you have in certain ways? Do you ever wonder why celebrities and people in the lime light seem to crave all that attention?

Well, one theory is that we have in order to gain approval from others. This may seem far fetched but think about it for a minute. Everything we do in life can boil down to 2 fundamental needs: the need to be loved and the need to be helped. As such, our actions tend to be determined by our ability to please others. This stems from the fact that our mind operates in a primitive survival mode looking to protect us at all costs. This survival mentality was originally formed during our early childhood where, as dependent helpless babies, we learned that it was necessary to please our parents (or caregivers) in order to get what we wanted if it was food or milk, and so forth. If we did not gain this approval, we feared the worst – that we would perish. Fortunately, we are no longer dependent children need others approval in order to survive. However, our conditioning has ingrained in us this need to please others even though it no longer makes sense to do so.

As such, one of our biggest obstacles to happiness in life is our need for approval from others or our need to prove ourselves, our fear of disapproval, and our fear of rejection. It is solely based on survival! Now, the need for survival is gone but the habit remains.

It is important to realize that when we try to please others we are always at the mercy of someone else's response, and then we have no control over the output. When we act in accord with other people's approval, we are saying that their item is more important than ours. We are saying that they are more important than us! According to Abraham Maslow, the world renounced psychologist, "The highest state of man is self-actualization. And the essence of self-actualization is freedom from the good opinion of others." Thus, in order to be truly happy we must dissociate from the bad and good opinion of others. We must learn to approve of ourselves and realize that each and everyone of us is a unique and special person capable of wonderful things. It is critical to understand that we all live in our own little "bubble". We are unique in the meanings that we attach to the information and events in our lives. Simply stated, two people experiencing the same event or information will give different meanings to each based on their own personal experience, upbringing, programming, and paradigms. For instance, the word "battle" may elicit a different mental image or meaning to you then it would to me. As such, how can we seek others approval when they are most …
